She was predeceased by: her parents, Konstantine Panetis and Vasiliki Panetis (Koula); and her brother George Panetis. She is survived by: her daughter Mary McShea; her husband Ted Zois; her son Jim Zois; her son-in-law Greg McShea; her grandchildren, Mike McShea, Katie McShea, Teddy Zois and Alex Zois; her sister Kiki Notsikas; and her sister-in-law Vicky Panetis. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
