She is survived by: her granddaughter La'Chelle Nick; her great grandchildren, Stephen Henson, Carlos Simms and MiKayla Simms; her stepchildren, Joanne Pindell, Darlene Taylor, Karen McAfee and James Jr.; and also Hattie Snowden. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, and friends.
