We are sad to announce that on April 3, 2023, at the age of 90, Louis Norman Thomas Sr. (Annapolis, Maryland) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Thomas W. Thomas, Sr. and Charlotte Lane Thomas; his wife Katherine "Dodie" Foote Thomas of Towson; his children, Kalin Thomas, Kelly Thomas and Louis Thomas, Jr.; his daughter-in-law Lisa Chandler Thomas; his grandchildren, Dante Wise, Corey Thomas (Kiley Bechtel Thomas), Christian Thomas and Collin Thomas; his brothers-in-law, Maurice Foote (Vonderlear Foote) and Douglass Richardson; and also Foote.
In the early days, the group got most of its instruments and uniforms donated by the U.S. Naval Academy.
