He was predeceased by: his parents, John Hill, Sr. and Gladys Hill; and his siblings, Florine Russ, Mary Little, Peggy Crawford and George Hill.
He is survived by: his wife Valerie Hill; his children, Melissa Nolan (Ezekiel), John Hill, III, Delray and Jazmine Johnson; his grandchildren, Cambriea Hill, Taylor Nolan, Di'Mauri and Haidyn Johnson; his siblings, David Hill, Sr. (Juletha) and Shirley Hill; his brothers-in-law, Veric Brown and Lemuel Brown, Sr.; and his close friends, Calvin "Leonard" Williams and Levi Herbert. He is also survived by cousins, nieces, nephews.
