He was predeceased by: his wife Helena Elsie Marsellas (Bass); his father James Melvin Marsellas, Sr.; his stepmother Leota Marsellas; and his siblings, Thomas E. Marsellas, Sr. and Bertie Louise Cannon.
He is survived by: his stepsister Emily Wallace of Annapolis, Maryland; his daughter Cathy Milazzo of Owings; his grandchildren, Melissa Whitmore (Adam) of Elkton, MD, Sarah Payne of Lexington, Joseph B. Milazzo of Hartford and Victoria Gough of Chesapeake Beach; and his great grandchildren, Lily, Olivia, Kelly, Benjamin and James.
