He is survived by: his wife Leslie E. Chambers; his children, Tameika L. Chambers-Pope (Jonathan) and Grover K. Chambers II; his granddaughters, Chandler Ivory Pope and London Ashleigh Pope; his siblings, Eraina J. Smallwood, DeMorris D. Palmer, LaGrant Chambers (Betty), Angela Chambers-James, Cecelia A. Chambers, Thurston Brooks (Karen) and Serene V. Perrin (Alfred); his mother-in-law Loretta Harrod; his sisters-in-law, Darlene Brashears and Penelope Harrod; the mother of his children Joan Brandford; and his close friend Cornell Cooper. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
His spirit will continue to live within us all as we forever remember to honor his value and contributions to our lives.
