She was predeceased by: her parents, Nunziato Fama and Vincenza Fama. She is survived by: her sister Nancy Garito (Nick); her daughter Sandra Marchetti (Carl); her grandchildren, Candice Maralusha (Adrian) and John Marchetti; and her great grandchildren, Catherine and Sofia Maralusha. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
