It is with great sadness that we announce the death of George Calvin Wallace of Annapolis, Maryland, born in Brewton, Alabama, who passed away on January 18, 2024, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Clarence Jefferson and Mary Ellen Wallace (Shires); and his daughter Cynthia Butler. He is survived by: his wife Evelyn Louise Wallace; his children, Robert Wallace of Hickory, NC, Sylvia Hardnett of Annapolis and Georgette Wallace of Livermore, CO; and his grandchildren, Clinton, Anthony Hardnett, John Childre, Elliott, Elizabeth Butler, Rachel, Lana Volz, Rosa Wallace Everson and Annie Lloyd Nesbitt. He is also survived by 12 great grandchildren, and three great-great grandchildren.
