He is survived by: his wife Valmarie Johnson; his children, Garry Johnson Jr., Evangela Rogers (Donte) and Aaron A. McNair; his grandchildren, Garry L. 3rd, Liberty L., Graylon, Grafton, Aubrey, Rynell G., Sincere M., Marcel M. and Vaia D.; his great grandchild Violet Reigh Mitchell; and his siblings, Sandra Adams, Linda M. Johnson, Clara Johnson, Anita Johnson, Clifford Colbert, Grafton H. Johnson Jr. (Peggy), Charles S. Johnson Sr. (Julie), Kim A. Johnson and Jeffrey L. Johnson. He is also survived by four sisters-in-law, five brothers-in-law, and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
Visitation was held on Monday, January 27th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Mt. Zion United Methodist Church (612 Second St, Annapolis, MD 21403). A funeral service was held on Monday, January 27th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
