She was loved and cherished by many people including: her mother Bertha Chambers; her son William Brown, Jr.; her godson Johnny Dorsey; her grandchildren, Crystal, Shelley, Kendall, Maurice, Tyson, Wanda, William III, Darryl Brown and Terri Morgan-Dears; her husband William Brown; and her close friends, Catherine Jones, Patricia Neal, Frances Williams, Gertrude Belt, Ann Dorsey, Eleanor Brown, Harry Ivrey, Lisa Sherwin and Jill Kaplan. She was also cherished by many great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren, and numerous adopted grandchildren.
