She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Ruth Violet Long and Clarence Gene Leggett; her sons, Matthew Murphy of Annapolis, MD and Benjamin Murphy of Silver Spring, MD; her former husband Walter Murphy Jr. (Bucky) of Annapolis, MD; her siblings, Linda Cook of Timberlake, NC, Christine O'Hagin of Gibsonton, FL and Mark Leggett of Harrington, DE; and her nephew Zuni Johnson of Charlotte, NC..
