He is survived by: his wife Janet Simms; his sister Joyce Martin; his sisters-in-law, Arnice Gills, Betty Kersey, Phyllistine Booth and Sarah Booth; his children, Sheila Simms, Maria Simms, Dr. Bernadette Simms (LaVerna), Paula Grenade, Clifford Simms, Jr. (Glenda), Carla Johnson and April Simms; and his grandchildren, Malkia'Spencer, Rashida Davis (Aaron), DeMico Henderson DeMarco Henderson, Dinea Henson (Charles), Gary Howe, Jr., Darrold Johnson, Jr. (Niesha), Ashley Johnson, Khalid Grenade, Elon Pullum, Ryan Simms, Brandon Simms, Clarence Johnson III, Colando Colbert Jr., Jousha Taylor, Jeremiah Taylor and J'Marion Simms. He is also survived by 26 great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, loved ones and friends.
