She was predeceased by: her parents, William Brooks and Georgianna Brooks; and her brothers, Benjamin Brooks and Reginald Brooks. She is survived by: her husband Keith Matthews, Sr.; her sons, Raleigh Medley, Jr. (Arria) and Keith Matthews, Jr.; her siblings, Sharon, Deborah, Linda, Pam, Regina and William, Jr.; her siblings-in-law, Margaret Brooks, Portia Bridges (James) and Dwight Matthews; and her aunts, Martha, Rosemary, Vicky, Vashiti Hall and Wanda Day. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins and special friends.
