She was predeceased by: her parents, James Smith and Jewell Longshore Smith; and her grandson Bernard Charles Parkinson. She is survived by: her husband Charlie (Charlie); her children, Sherry MacLauchlan (Donald), Charles "Chip" Hardesty, Jr. of Davidsonville, MD and Laurie Holman (Brian) of Annapolis, MD; her grandchildren, Stacey Boswell (Vince) and Lindsey Martin (Scott); her children, Rachel Hardesty Tartaglia (Steve), Ryan, Mary, Charlie Hardesty, Matthew Holman (Kelsi), Marcus Holman (Alex) and Sydney Holman Lynch (Michael); and her great grandchildren, Justin, Emerson Martin, Cooper, Reese Boswell, Carmen, Gabriella, Charleigh Tartaglia, Ainsley and Scottie Holman.
