She was predeceased by: her parents, Hubert Tucker and Violet Tucker (Walton); her brother Donald Tucker; and her son Rodney Ward, Sr.. She is survived by: her husband John W. Ward; her daughter Cynthia Bennett of Deale; and her grandchildren, Dana Jackson (Tom) of Shady Side, Crystal Bennett of Annapolis, Kyle Bennett of Lothian, Carrie DiLodovico (Joey) of Dunkirk, Rodney Ward, Jr. of Friendship and Derek Ward (Mindy) of Friendship. She is also survived by seven great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers donations can be made in her honor to Hospice of the Chesapeake.
