He was predeceased by: his sister-in-law Charlene Katch; and his parents, Phillip Leo and Harriet Katch. He is survived by: his wife Esther Katch; his children, Michael Katch (Peggy), Howard Katch and Susan Jones; his brother Ronald Katch; his grandchildren, Hillary Katch (Max Raabe), Zachary Jones (Alyssa Fitzgerald), Ashley Jones, Sarah Jones and Charles Jones; and his great grandchildren, Leo Raabe and Diana Raabe.
