He was predeceased by: his parents, Isaac Bodley and Elizabeth Johnson; his stepparents, Alice Bodley and William Jackson; his brothers, John Bodley and Isaac B. Bodley; and his great grandchild Kewan.
He is survived by: his daughter Wanda Lewis (Robert); his grandchildren, Burton Miller, Traavon Lewis and Brittany Ford; his great grandchildren, Ronchè Kaskin (Shay), Hakeem Miller (Nae), Jaden Miller, Khaja Stansbury, T. J. Lewis, Chyna Lewis and Keweà Miller; his great great grandchildren, Logan, Landen, Leland Kaskins and Armoni Miller; his siblings, Carrie Barbara Ann Taylor and Roland Bodley; his sister-in-law Martha Bodley; his former wife Vernell Alston Bodley; and also, Denise Artis (Eddie), Michael, Moses Alston and Marvin Williams. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
