It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Ruth Reed of Adamstown, Maryland, born in Saxton, Pennsylvania, who passed away on June 22, 2021, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Vinton H. Ross and Mary Ross (Dick); her husband William W. Reed; her daughter Deborah K. Reed; and her sisters, Doris Bremer and Josephine Edwards.
She is survived by: her son Steve Reed (Susan); her siblings, Phyllis Dixon and William Ross of Manns Choice, PA; her grandchildren, Gregory A. Reed (Cara), Jennifer S. Reed and Meredith A. Rodriguez-Reed (Alex); and her great grandchildren, Ethan F. Coker, Alexis C. M. Coker and Lillian M. Reed. She is also survived by great-grandson.
