It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Freddie Kent Hines of Adamstown, Maryland, who passed away on April 21, 2022, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Fred Hines and Maude Hazel Monds Hines; his significant other Cyril Thomas Vernon (Tom); his brother Troy K.; his sister-in-law Jessie Hines of Marlow, OK; and his siblings, Lois Hines Whatley of Duncan, OK, Sue Hines Ross of Duncan, OK, Vivie Hines Selph of Florence, SC, Betty Hines Chitwood of Casper, WY, Loyd Hines of Don Hines, M. T and J. W. Hines of Duncan, OK..
He is survived by: his sisters, Freda Hines Sharp of Three Rivers, CA and Cathy Hines DeRoin (Logan) of Broken Arrow, OK; his sister-in-law Mary Etienne-Vernon of Shrewsbury, MA; his close friends, Jon, Lori Sewell, Zoila Quintanilla, Enrique Montenegro, Ray and Nancy Kisner; and also Michelle L. Chunis of Millbury, MA.. He is also survived by many nieces & nephews.
They recently completed restoration of the historical Benjamin John Snouffer house on New Design Rd. Knowing the importance of agriculture, Fred was very proud of their involvement in farming and their contribution to the development and preservation of agricultural lands in Frederick County.
