She was loved and cherished by many people including: her spouse Francis S. "Frank" Gaither, Jr.; her parents, Clarence Elgin and Helen Roelke Hemp; her daughters, Susan Gaither Rice (Stephen, Doris Jeanne) of Frederick and Helen Catherine "Cathy" Karl (Ray Frank) of Frederick; and her grandchildren, Stephanie Rice Fields (Tim, Rebecca Rice), Stacey Korrell Moler (Kevin, Bradley E.), Matthew R. Korrell (Jenn, Erik A.), Michael G. Karl (Melissa) and John E. A. Karl III.
