He was predeceased by: his parents, John Henry Knight and Mary Lou Foster Harris (Mawyer Knight); and his siblings, Harvey Knight, Sidney Knight, William Mawyer, Junior Mawyer, William Knight, John Knight, Daisy Knight Goff, Elizabeth Mawyer Walker, Belle Mawyer Lowry, Annie Knight Taylor and Myrtle Knight Mawyer.
He is survived by: his wife Mary L. Knight; his children, Janet Lynne Tull, Brenda Kay Brown and Gregory Lee Knight; his sons-in-law, Timothy Tull and Robert Brown; and his grandchildren, Valerie Brashears (Brown), Nicole Brown, Adam Tull and Corey Tull. He is also survived by nine great-grandchildren, two sisters-in-law, and numerous nieces and nephews.
