Minnie Davenport Obituary

We are sad to announce that on April 19, 2020, at the age of 89, Minnie Davenport (Accokeek, Maryland), born in Cannelton, West Virginia passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Edward Delbert Rollins and Mary Jennie Rollins (Barber); her brothers, Thomas Rollins and Reggie Rollins; her half-siblings, Delbert Rollins and Louise Katie Johnson; and her children, Wade Davenport and Linda Davenport.

She is survived by: her spouse Freddie Sr.; her siblings, Robert Rollins (late Doris Rollins) of Powellton, WV and Mary Harris (late Howard Harris) of Washington, DC; her children, Delores James (late Andrew James) of Accokeek, MD, Mary Fry of Lexington Park, MD, Freddie Davenport, Jr. (Thelma) of Toledo, OH, Thomas Davenport (Margaret) of Rand, WV, Larry Davenport (Jennifer) of Montgomery, WV, Bishop Joseph Davenport (Terri) of Dunbar, WV, Paul Davenport (Esther) of Torrance, CA, Timothy Davenport (Tonya) of Upper Marlboro, MD and Jule Davenport (Crystal) of Upper Marlboro, MD; and her grandsons, Stephen Davenport of Columbus, OH and Robert Davenport (Ayesha) of Atlanta, GA. She is also survived by 33 grandchildren; 27 great grandchildren (one on the way); 2 great-great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins, and a host of other relatives and friends.
