With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Judith Ann South of Accokeek, Maryland, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. Judith left this world on February 27, 2025 at the age of 79, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Eloise Woodall (Anders) and Joseph Woodall; her husband James Ryan South; her siblings, Joseph Woodall, George Shorb and Margaret Windgrove; and her son-in-law Allen Padgette.
She is survived by: her children, James R. South, Bernadine Padgette and Pam Byus; her grandchildren, Raymond Serman (Kelly), Dale Padgette, Nichole Brooks (Stephen) and Branden Byus; and her great grandchildren, Jaycob Sutton, Trent Padgette, Ariel Serman and Michael Serman.
Visitation was held on Thursday, March 6th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Raymond Funeral Service (5635 Washington Ave, La Plata, MD 20646). A funeral service was held on Thursday, March 6th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Thursday, March 6th 2025 at 1:15 PM at the Trinity Memorial Gardens (3221 Mattawoman Beantown Rd, Waldorf, MD 20601).
