He was predeceased by: his parents, Samuel Jackson and Burnice Thomas, Sr. (Baer); and his siblings, Brison "Rusty" Thomas and Joan Crowe. He is survived by: his wife Sharon Louise Thomas (Wolfe); his children, C. J. Thomas (Kimberly), Melissa Hainsworth (Dennis) of Meyersdale, PA and Kista Wilt of Grantsville, MD; his grandchildren, Patrick Hughes (Tessa), Samantha Wilt (Jordan), Samuel Hughes, Jacob Wilt, Matthew Hainsworth and Sarah Hainsworth; and his great grandchild Aubrey Hughes.
Visitation was held on Thursday, November 7th 2024 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Newman Funeral Homes (26722 Garrett Hwy, McHenry, MD 21520). A funeral service was held on Friday, November 8th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
