He is survived by: his children, John Park Opel of Meridian, MS, Jeffrey Dale Opel of Accident, Gerald Glenn Opel of Accident, Connie Sue Skipper of Oakland, MD, Peggy Ann Brown of Abbottsford, B. C. and Rebecca Joy Yoder; and his siblings, Don Opel, Erma Stephens of Oakland, Nora Evans of Oakland, Jean DeWitt of Oakland, Thelma Yoder of Accident, Eva Miller of Accident, Hazel Maust of Accident, Marie Eisentrout of Beaverdam, VA, JoAnn Bender of Kalona, IA and June McCann of Albright, WV. He is also survived by 12 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren.
