She was predeceased by: her parents, Ray Edwin and Evelyn Pauline Doerr (Tressler); and her siblings, Carl, John Doerr and Linda Dovel.
She is survived by: her husband Blaine Joseph "Joe" Friend, Sr.; her sons, Joe Friend, Jr. (Sue Newton), William Friend (Diane) and John Friend (Vicki); her siblings, Ron Doerr and Nancy "Sam" Deckman; her grandchildren, Tanner Friend, Camden Friend and Michael Keister; her niece Nancy Jo Shelton; and her close friend Chewy. She is also survived by numerous other nieces and nephews.
