He was predeceased by: his parents, Elmer Wentz and Mabel Wentz (Gise); his wives, Lorraine Wentz (Evert) and Kathleen Wentz (Fratz); his siblings, Roy Wentz, Pauline Small, Edgar Wentz, Dorothy Black, Raymond Wentz and Helen Ayers; and his stepdaughter Peggy Plumlee.
He is survived by: his sister-in-law Mary Ann Wentz; his children, David Wentz (Suzanne), Gary Wentz, Sr., Catherine Trueworthy and Linda Allen (Dabnay); his stepchildren, Jim Fratz (Lena), Margie Nelson (Robert), Connie Wagner and Bill Fratz (Barbara); his daughter-in-law Pamela Wentz; his grandchildren, John McBride, Joy Trueworthy, Zachary Wentz, Sarah Wentz, Gary Wentz, Jr. and Sherry Wentz; and his stepgrandchildren, Tammy Glick, Laura Butler, Scott Bowser, David Fratz, Rebecca Carrington, Amy Shimko, Jason Robison, Allison Wagner, Billy Wagner, Sara Mahler, Kathy Williams and Lori Kyle. He is also survived by 9 great-grandchildren, 32 step-great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
