He is survived by: his wife Martha Bender (Mast); his children, Richard Bender (Doreen) of Accident, Kenton Bender (Holly) of Accident, Dennis Bender (Machelle) of Accident, Lillian Beitzel (Randal) of Bittinger, MD and Janelle Ganson (Ben) of Rock Hill, SC; and his sisters, Erma Miller of London, OH, Doris Yoder of Grantsville, MD and Jane Moser of Springs, PA.
Visitation was held on Monday, March 31st 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM, from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Tuesday, April 1st 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Cherry Glade Mennonite Church (4051 Accident Bittinger Rd, Accident, MD 21520). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, April 1st 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
