He was predeceased by: his parents, Marie Bankert and Ellis Bankert; and his sister Cecilia Donnelly. He is survived by: his wife Doris Jean Skillman; and his sons, William E. Bankert, Jr. (Patricia) of Harford County and Philip Bankert (Melody) of Wicomico County. He is also survived by 3 grandchildren & 6 great-grandchildren.
