He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter Scowden and Esther Scowden (Harrison). He is survived by: his wife Lisa Scowden (LaPaglia); his sons, Walter Michael Scowden III (Blair), Gregory Scott Scowden and Adam John Scowden (Sarah); his grandchildren, Jase and Braden; and his siblings, Sharon Babon (James), Alice Snively (Pete) and Robert Scowden. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, January 21st 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Abingdon-McComas Family Funeral Homes (1317 Cokesbury Rd, Abingdon, MD 21009). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, January 22nd 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
