He was predeceased by: his spouse Margarita R. Caperna; and his siblings, Lena, Moody, Gene and Alex.
He is survived by: his parents, Luigi Caperna and Adelina Caperna (Geralico); his children, Roman M. Caperna and Stephanie M. Caperna Schulz; his grandchildren, Vinny Caperna, Tony Caperna, Christian Schulz and Adelena Schulz; and his sister Sandy. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
