He was predeceased by: his parents, Stephen Anderson and Hazel Anderson (Tyson); his wife Shirley Anderson (McDaniel); and his stepdaughter Lindy Brenner. He is survived by: his daughter Karen M. Anderson; his stepchildren, Charles E. Hanna, James H. Hanna (Terry), Richard N. Hanna, Christopher Youngblood (Gayle), Michael Litchfield (Debbie), Mary Margaret Ciehl (Michael) and Deidra L. Gullion (Mark); and his siblings, Ronald H. Anderson (Helen), Lorraine Kruffman (Michael) and Cheryl Hyman (Al). He is also survived by 9 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Saturday, December 7th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Abingdon-McComas Family Funeral Homes (1317 Cokesbury Rd, Abingdon, MD 21009). A funeral service was held on Saturday, December 7th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A graveside service was held on Saturday, December 7th 2024 at the Bel Air Memorial Gardens (809 Rock Spring Rd, Bel Air, MD 21014).
