He was predeceased by: his parents, Melvin Kranz and Madeline Kranz (Miller). He is survived by: his wife Elizabeth Jean Kranz; and his sons, Charles Kranz, Robert Lee Kranz, Jr. and David Kranz. He is also survived by 6 grandchildren;13 great grandchildren.
