He is survived by: his wife Suzanne Merritt (Mears); his children, Michele Victor, Therese Tolley (David) and Brian Merritt (Tabitha); his siblings, William Merritt (Joann), Dorothy Romanowski (John) and Carolyn Merritt (John Holloway); his grandchildren, Nicholas Brown, Taylor Merritt, Alyssa Merritt, Matthew Merritt, Rachel Victor, Hannah Tolley, Abigail Merritt, Nathaniel Merritt, Rebecca Merritt, Sean Merritt and Jack Tolley; his great grandchild Liam; his niece Colleen Severyn; and his nephews, William Merritt, Matthew Romanowski and Sean Holloway.
