He is survived by: his wife Shirley Harris; his children, Jacqueline Harris-Brown (Albert), Deborah Harris-Craig, Richard Harris, Jr., Anthony Harris and George Harris; his siblings, Phillip Harris (Alma), Mildred Norton, Frances Lee (Earl), Anna Mae Davis, Helen Joyce Waldon, Janice Demby and Vera Davis; his daughters-in-law, Carolyn Harris and Carla Smith; and his siblings-in-law, Henry Amos, O'Neil Amos (Rachel), Orlando Amos, Lena Harris, Floriene Myers and Vera Owens. He is also survived by seven grandchildren, nine great grandchildren, two great-great grandchildren, and a host of others nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
