He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Thurfield and Mary Knight Thurfield. He is survived by: his wife Barbara Thurfield; his daughter April Frankenberger; his grandchildren, Griffin Thurfield, Willa Thurfield, Lily Thurfield, Hanna Thurfield and London Frankenberger; his sisters, Barbara Ann Blazek, Gloria Mahlstedt and Mary Outten; and his son Michael Allan Thurfield.
