She was predeceased by: her husband Bernard K. Dawes; her close friend Jack Hoker; and her sister Ellen Cahill. She is survived by: her sisters, Connie Polouski (Mike) and Joan Duchesne (Don); her children, Lawrence Dawes, Beth Dawes, Brenda MacGhee, Barbara Dawes-Lau (Tom), Bev Davis (Gary) and Bernadette Smith (Walt); her grandchildren, Amanda Urwin (MachGhee), Molly Sovich (MacGhee), Tyler Smith, Emma Kate Smith, Owen Jones, Lauren Dawes, Rory Jones, Dawson Lau and Jeffrey Dawes; and her great grandchild Stella Sovich. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
