Louanna P. Francies Obituary

With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Louanna P. Francies (Abingdon, Maryland), born in Fork, Maryland, who passed away on November 29, 2022 at the age of 92. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Otto Ernest Petersen and Florence May Dahler Petersen (Fork, MD); and her husband William Loker Francies of Baldwin, MD.. She is survived by: her sister Helen Rutkowski (Conrad); and her daughters, Deborah Francies Parrish (Charles), Judith Francies Leist (Raymond) and Terri Francies Berg (Charles). She is also survived by three grandchildren, and two great grandchildren.

As per Louanna's wishes, memorial donations are to Peaceful Valley Donkey Rescue (donkeyrescue.org - 866-366-5731) or the animal organization of your choice.

“Thanks to the family of Louanna for letting us take care of her at QPRC. I was one of her nurses. She was a very special lady. I can only imagine she was an exceptional nurse. She was always complimentary and you could tell she loved humans and animals alike. She would tell me she would say a prayer for me. I know you are not supposed to have favorites, but she was one of mine. I loved sharing stories with her. I will miss her deeply. Deepest sympathy to all. Heaven gained an angel!”
