She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert W. Burton and Laura Suter (Williams); and her son Peter L. Bogdan, Jr.. She is survived by: her husband Peter Bogdan; her daughters, Anita Chapman (Bill) and Susan Dozier (James Dozier); her grandchildren, Rachel McCarthy (Rees Roberts), Lauren McCarthy and Ashton Dozier; and her stepfather Donald Suter.
