He is survived by: his parents, John M. and Ellen Rufe (Keenan); his wife Janice Rufe; his sons, John P. Rufe of Manchester and Paul F. Rufe of Dundalk; and his stepchildren, Dennis B. Barrett of Glen Burnie and Cheryl A. Bright of Abingdon. He is also survived by 8 grandchildren and several great grandchildren.
