It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Ellen Sandra Horak of Abingdon, Maryland, who passed away on November 23, 2022, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was loved and cherished by many people including: her husband Martin George Horak; her children, Suzanne E. Thomas, John J. Horak (Angela), William James Horak (Brittney), Caitlin Christina Hosenfeld (William), Claire Elizabeth Wildasin (Cory), Anna Tarlton Bowman (Zachary Cianciulli), Ella Marie Thomas, Abigail May Horak and Madeline Rose Horak; and her great grandchildren, William Daniel Horak, Sophia Lynn Horak, Miles Daniel Wildasin, Gabriel Martin Cianciulli and Jerry Robert Hosenfeld.
In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to St. John the Evangelist School, 1311 Long Green Pike, Hydes, MD 21082, the money raised will go to the pre-school playground where Ellen's great-grandchildren will eventually play.
