He was predeceased by: his former wife Lucille Petralia; his daughter Rosemary; his sisters, Mary Maiorana and Rose Cloman; and his parents, Nunzio Petralia and Sebastiana Petralia.

He is survived by: his wife Carolyn Petralia; his son Anthony J. Petralia, Jr. (Judy); his grandchildren, Anthony J. Petralia, III (Cassandra) and Angela Strong; his stepchildren, Rick Fulco (Susan), David Fulco and Dana Morgan (John); his daughter-in-law Tina DelBrocco Fulco; his stepgrandchildren, Kai Fulco (Stephanie), Sammantha Cummings, Isabella Fulco, Sophia Fulco and Luciano Fulco; his sister-in-law Delores Scott; and his niece Marylou Smith (David). He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews, and great nieces and nephews, as well as countless friends and co-workers.

“I am deeply saddened by Tony's passing. It's amazing, fifty-four years ago, I met Tony Jr. We became fast friends. As time wore on and friends ultimately drift apart, I became a member of The Gardenville Lions. To my surprise Tony Sr. was a charter member! What a great man! He was extremely funny! Dangerously fast with a quip... Very intelligent. And I discovered him to be a loyal friend. I'd like to say that Tony was one of the finest men I've ever known...”
