She was predeceased by: her spouse Ronald V. Akers of Abingdon, MD; and her sibling Janice Luczak. She is survived by: her children, Stacy Alford of Bel Air and Wendy Arthur of Jarrettsville; her grandchildren, Landon and Leah Arthur; and her siblings, Richard Hughes and Theresa Landefeld.
