She was predeceased by: her parents, Virginia Estelle and Estel Longworth; her brother Joseph Longworth; and her stepfather James Breen. She is survived by: her husband Gerald R. Phillips of Aberdeen; her children, Thomas R. Phillips (Shirley) of Aberdeen and Catherine R. Phillips of Oakland, MD; her granddaughter Megan Phillips Walter; and her nephews, Jacob, Ryta and Grayson.
Visitation was held on Sunday, January 5th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Tarring-Cargo Funeral Home (333 S Parke St, Aberdeen, MD 21001). A funeral service was held on Sunday, January 5th 2025 at 6:30 PM and on Monday, January 6th 2025 at 11:00 AM.
