She was predeceased by: her parents, Thomas Broad and Esther Mae Broad (Mixer); her sons, Charles Douglas Brooks and Jason Thomas Brooks; and her brothers, Mark Thomas Broad and Lance Dean Broad.
She is survived by: her husband Stanley Harold Kerns; her siblings, Brenda Lee Scafidi and Thomas Glen Broad; and her grandchildren, Laci Nicole Brooks of Bel Air, MD, Jason James Brooks and Raven Scarlett Brooks.
