He is survived by: his wife Jaclyn Vass; his daughter Evelyn Vass; his parents, Phillip Sr. Vass and Tela Vass; his parents-in-law, Barbara and Robert VanNortwick; his sister-in-law Nicole Melara; his niece Eden Melara; his aunts and uncles, Debra, Wesley Treadway, Paula Fowlkes, William Vass III and Curlen Richardson; his great-uncle Deacon Francis H. Winn; and his great-aunts, Rachel Winn and Carolyn Ray.
A celebration of life was held on Saturday, November 9th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the Tarring-Cargo Funeral Home (333 S Parke St, Aberdeen, MD 21001). Visitation was held on Saturday, November 9th 2024 from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made for the future care of Phil's daughter, Evelyn Vass.
