He was predeceased by: his parents, Isaac E Gruber and Esther L. Gruber. He is survived by: his wife Donna Marie Gruber; his son Gregory E. Gruber (Donna Steps); and his grandsons, Matthew and Michael Gruber.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, February 18th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM and from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Tarring-Cargo Funeral Home (333 S Parke St, Aberdeen, MD 21001). A graveside service was held on Thursday, February 20th 2025 at the Rest Haven Cemetery (1601 Pennsylvania Ave, Hagerstown, MD 21742).
