Geneva A. Short Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Geneva A. Short of Aberdeen, Maryland, who passed away on March 15, 2023 at the age of 88. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Winfred Helbert and Arcie Riley (Shelton); her stepfather James Riley; her husband Hurley Short, Sr.; her children, Judy Ann Short Grace and Hurley "Danny" Short, Jr.; her grandsons, Mark Short and Nathen Smith; and her siblings, Terry Riley, Carl Helbert and Mary Simmons.
She is survived by: her daughters, Sandra Bowman (Donald), Melissa Short and Angela Visser (Michael Luckett); her grandchildren, Jason Brown, Ryan Brown and Donald Bowman, II (Penny); her great grandchildren, Gary Visser, Samantha Brown and Chase Bowman; and her siblings, Donald, Billy Helbert, Jerry Riley, Juanita Chambers and Frances Sizeman.
