We are sad to announce that on September 22, 2022, at the age of 100, Daniel Bennett Smith Sr. (Aberdeen, Maryland) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Everett Smith and Alice Bennett Smith; his wife Sara Johnson Smith; and his daughter-in-law Marie Erklauer Smith. He is survived by: his daughter-in-law Judy Smith Vanarsdale; his grandchildren, William Smith Jr., Dave Smith, Linda Schwartz, Diana Russell, Michael Smith, Rebecca Smith and Sara Texcocana; his son Bob; his grandchild Sandy; and his son Volkswagen. He is also survived by 19 great grandchildren and 22 great greatgrandchildren.
Daniel celebrated his 100th birthday on December 19, 2021 with his children at his home in Aberdeen, away from his care facility due to COVID 19 restrictions.
