“There is a saying among Railroaders, "Old Railroaders never die. they just fade away". In my life I have known few men that have had a great influence on me, Mr. Gaddy was one of them. We met years ago, I had heard of him and when we met we hit it off. He and another legend, W.I Barnes. were great men who will live on as long as some of us still live. We have a brotherhood like no other. Let it be known this day a real giant of a man has left a void that will not be filled. W.R Powell”
